How to Celebrate Christmas in 2020 - Four ways to creatively and safely celebrate Christmas in a pandemic

Are you staying home for Christmas this year? Did you just make this decision and wonder what this new idea of Christmas will look like? We’ve got you covered. It is important to stay safe this year but also be festive. Other than normal traditions of making cookies, watching holiday films and cozying up by the fire there are a handful of other ways to celebrate Christmas during a pandemic. Check out our suggestions below!
One:
Wear Merry Jewelry
Well, of course this would be a solution! Even if you are home alone, it is always fun to put on some sparkle. It does not have to be extravagant or anything over the top – just a little something to bring you some joy. If you feel like going all out with a dress and a statement piece for your holiday video calls, go for it! Or sweatpants and some cheery studs are just as good. No judgement here. 🙂
Two:
New Holiday Decorations
If you’re stuck at home for the 2020 Holiday season, why not decorate your house from top to bottom to cuddle up with the festive cheer. At Novadab, dressing our home and office for Christmas is one of our favorite things to do which is why we created this collection! Need a few more throw pillows? What about a couple more stockings to hang by the fire? Or joyful 2020 ornaments to mark the crazy year we had? We also created this collection knowing that everyone has a budget and to make sure it’s all affordable!
Three:
Wear a Festive Mask
Now that most of us are wearing masks when we are going out why not spread holiday joy? We have many different styles at Novadab that include Santa, reindeer, Christmas trees and snowmen. Pick your favorite or go for them all! If you have a bunch of people in your family that want the same designs, then why not have their initials put on it? That way everyone will know whose is whose!
Four:
Cozy up with Jolly Socks
The colder temperatures are here, and you know what that means -- Fuzzy socks! And what is better than fuzzy socks? Christmas fuzzy socks of course! We have chosen a bunch of different styles that are the perfect accessory for the holiday. We have tried out all of them and we cannot choose which one is our favorite. Good thing is that you don’t have to because they are all on sale today. Run to get them all so that you can have a new outfit every day for cozying up on the couch.
There we have it! We hope these four ideas have helped clear your Christmas blues and spark creativity on how you can still celebrate the holidays in 2020. Below is an image of everything we put together just in case you want to pin it for later. 🙂
